Level 2: The “E-Visa” Group
If a country is not on the 365-day list, they may be eligible for an Electronic Visa (E-Visa) for short-term stays (90 days). This includes:
- India, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Egypt, and many South American/African nations.
- 2026 Note: These nomads can still register an Individual Entrepreneur (IE) status, but they will need to apply for a D1 (Immigration) Visa much sooner if they want to stay long-term.
Level 3: The New “C5 Remote Work” Visa (April 2026 Update)
On April 15, 2026, the Georgian Parliament introduced the C5 Visa. This is specifically for foreigners from countries not in the visa-free list who want to work for companies located outside Georgia.
- Validity: Up to 5 years (multiple entry).
- Stay: Allows continuous stay for 1 year.
- Target: High-income nomads from restricted countries who previously found it hard to stay in Georgia.
The “Work Permit” Warning:
While entry is visa-free, the March 1, 2026 Law requires you to register your activity if you stay long-term.
Special Exemptions:
The holders of valid visas/residency from the Schengen Area, USA, UK, or GCC can also enter Georgia visa-free for 90 days, regardless of their original citizenship.
